Webinar technical producer

OTYS Recruiting Technology is seeking a skilled Technical Producer to manage the technical aspects of our webinars and virtual events. This role involves ensuring the seamless operation of video, audio, and visual elements, troubleshooting technical issues in real-time, and supporting the team to deliver a polished and professional webinar experience.

As a key behind-the-scenes contributor, the Technical Producer will play a vital role in maintaining the high production standards that represent the OTYS brand.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up, operate, and manage all technical components of webinars, including video, audio, lighting, and camera systems.
• Control live switching between cameras, slides, videos, and other media elements during webinars.
• Conduct technical run-throughs and rehearsals with presenters and hosts to ensure all equipment and software function properly.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any technical issues before and during live events.
• Ensure high-quality audio and video output for both live and recorded sessions.
• Coordinate with the webinar team to integrate content, such as graphics, animations, or pre-recorded clips.
• Monitor and manage webinar platform features, such as screen sharing, chat, and polls, as needed.
• Maintain and update technical equipment and software to ensure optimal performance.

• Experience:
  • 2+ years in technical production, video/audio editing, or virtual event management.
  • Hands-on experience with webinar platforms (Zoom, GoToWebinar, Microsoft Teams) and production tools (OBS Studio, Wirecast, or similar).
• Skills:
  • Proficiency in video and audio equipment setup and operation.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills for real-time issue resolution.
  • Familiarity with live streaming technologies and protocols.
  • Basic knowledge of video editing and post-production tools is a plus.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks under tight deadlines.
• Education:
  • Degree in Multimedia Production, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
